Additional Courses and Networking Events

You can add the following events to your registration package when you register for the conference:

  • Professional Development Events: Choose from half-day or full-day workshops and courses on Sunday, February 23.
  • TMS Technical Division Luncheon Lectures: Learn from invited speakers while you lunch with colleagues who share your technical interests. Luncheon lectures are held on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.
  • Materials and Manufacturing Innovation Spotlight Luncheon: Several featured speakers will deliver presentations at this lunch session on Thursday, February 26.
  • PuBZoNe: Join the PbZn2020 Networking Reception, part of the 9th International Symposium on Lead and Zinc Processing, on Monday, February 24. Note: You must be 21 or older to attend. Please be prepared to present a valid photo ID at the event. 
  • Fresh Coffee, Fresh Ideas: Diversity and Inclusion Breakfast: Network and discuss issues related to diversity and inclusion in the minerals, metals, and materials professions on Wednesday morning, February 25.
  • Young Professional Tutorial Luncheon Lecture: Hear presentations on topics of interest to early-career professionals and share a meal with other young professionals on Tuesday, February 25.
  • 2020 TMS-AIME Awards Banquet: Enjoy an elegant dinner with award recipients who are leaders in their fields on Wednesday, February 25.
  • Professor Don Sadoway Honorary Symposium Dinner: Purchase tickets for this special dinner, held on Thursday, February 26, which is part of Process Metallurgy and Electrochemistry of Molten Salts, Liquid Metal Batteries and Extra-Terrestrial Materials Processing: An EPD Symposium in Honor of Don Sadoway.

* Must be a full-time student at an accredited university to register at the student rate. A current school identification card must be presented at registration to receive your materials at TMS2020.

Corporate Rate

To receive the corporate registration rate, you must send a minimum of 15 attendees to the meeting from your corporation. Contact Trudi Dunlap for more information on this option.

Not a TMS Member?

Register at the Non-Member Rate and your meeting registration will include TMS membership through the end of 2020, giving you access to TMS journals, discounts on publications and select meetings, and numerous opportunities for networking and professional development. Refund Policy

Written requests must arrive at TMS post marked no later than January 17, 2020. No refunds will be issued after January 17, 2020. A $75 processing fee is charged for all cancellations.

Registration Desk Hours of Operation

The registration desk will be open during the following dates and times during TMS2020:

TMS Guest Program

TMS welcomes your guests to join in selected TMS2020 activities.

Guest Session Access

Each full-conference attendee is permitted up to two guests for one session at which they are presenting. This does not include colleagues or exhibitors. This access is intended for family members who wish to listen to one talk presented by their relative. No one under 18 permitted. Please provide the names of the guests who will be attending your presentations when completing the registration form.

Guest Function Tickets

You may purchase additional tickets to social functions for your guests through the registration form.
