Industrial Aluminum Electrolysis Course 2010 This is the definitive course on the theory and practice of primary aluminum production. Participants will be enriched by this 4 1/2 day course, which will provide a comprehensive understanding of the electrolysis process, as well as an overview of the state-of- the-art aluminum production. An on-site visit to the Alcoa Sao Luis aluminum smelter will round out the academic experience.
Metal-Matrix Composites Metal-Matrix Composites provides a comprehensive overview of composite materials with a focus on light weighting and aluminum.

Fundamentals of Aluminum Production
This video series is an excellent introduction to the aluminum production process and includes actual footage of cast shop operations. Developed by Kaiser, it provides an in-depth look at the basics of aluminum production from the first research done by Hall and Heroult through modern automated aluminum processing.
Course Audience: Non-engineers
