TMS is an Authorized Knowledge Provider for the Engineering Management Certification program. Through Engineering Management Certification International (EMCI), TMS offers engineering management certification courses and related products to applicants who want to become internationally certified in engineering management.

EMCI is an interdisciplinary partnership created to provide global standards and best practices for engineering managers. It was formed by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), American Institute of Mining, Metallurgical and Petroleum Engineers (AIME), of which TMS is a member society, and American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE).
