EMC 2009: Housing Information

EMC has reserved a block of rooms at the Penn Stater Conference Center Hotel at the site of all the EMC activities. On-campus housing is also available in the Eastview Terrace residence hall. Please select a housing option below and make your reservations.

Making Reservations
The online housing deadline has now passed. To make a reservation, contact the hotel directly at 800-233-7505. Space is limited, so reserve your room today.

Lunch Package Available at the Penn Stater
The Penn Stater offers two excellent dining options for EMC attendees, The Gardens Restaurant and Legends Pub. Box lunches may also be purchased in advance on the conference registration form for each day of the conference (Wednesday, Thursday and Friday) for a package deal of $38. The lunches will be available for pick-up inside the exhibition. Please note that the Penn State residence halls and dining facilities are not located within walking distance of the Penn Stater Conference Center Hotel.

Eastview Terrace Residence Hall
On-campus housing is available in the Eastview Terrace. All dorm rooms are single occupancy and have private restrooms. A daily shuttle will be provided between the residence halls and the conference center. Please note that children are not able to stay overnight in the Residence Halls.

Rooms are furnished with one single bed and a small microwave/refrigerator.  The rate includes a continental breakfast each day of residence, bed linens, a pillow, towels, and washcloth.  You should bring your own clothes hangers, alarm clock, and any other personal items you may require. We regret that no adjustments can be made for late arrivals or early departures.

Making Reservations
Residence Hall housing is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Complete the Housing Reservation form and return it with your payment. The deadline for reservations is May 20, 2009. Reservations received by the deadline will be confirmed by the Penn State conference office.
