| AUTHOR INSTRUCTIONS |
The authors of ALL accepted contributions (plenary, invited, oral talks and POSTERs) to ICNS 2007 are invited to submit a paper to the ICNS proceedings. As in previous years, the proceedings of ICNS 7 will be published as an issue of Wiley-VCH Physica Status Solidi (PSS a, b and c). The submitted manuscripts will undergo the normal peer-review process and will be published in early 2008. Authors are strongly encouraged to prepare manuscripts according to the guidelines outlined below. If a manuscript is accepted, the choice of the journal (a, b or c) will depend on the recommendation by the reviewers. The page limit for invited talks is seven pages, while contributed talks are limited to three pages, including the abstract, figures and references.
Manuscript Format:
Please note that Wiley has recently decided to change the publication format of PSS journals from one-column to two-columns, so please make sure to use the format prescribed in the provided templates:
http://www3.interscience.wiley.com/cgi-bin/jabout/102519628/instruct-c08.html. The submission deadline is Sept. 7, 2007.
Manuscript Submissions:
In order to submit a manuscript for the Proceedings of the ICNS-7 conference, authors should use the Web interface of Wiley-VCH: http://conferences.wiley-vch.de. After user registration, select the options "ICNS-7-Author" and "Create Manuscript" and follow the instructions. Manuscripts must be submitted (and will be refereed) in electronic format only (PDF). No paper manuscripts will be accepted. Also, when submitting a paper, each author should indicate in the cover letter the names of five referees suitable to review the manuscript.
Manuscript Questions:
Any questions regarding the submissions should be addressed to the publication co-chairs (Tomas Palacios, MIT, and Debdeep Jena, University of Notre Dame) at icns7_proceedings@mit.edu.
