***THIS CONFERENCE HAS BEEN CANCELED*** The Third International Conference on Processing Materials for Properties (PMP-III) originally scheduled for December 7-10, 2008, was postponed due to temporary circumstances and travel restrictions in Bangkok, Thailand. After extensive consideration by the conference organizers, it has been decided that the PMP-III conference will not be rescheduled. It has been decided to print the CD Proceedings in Bangkok and have them shipped to interested authors/attendees directly. Those not interested in this opportunity will receive a full refund of their pre-registration fee.

PMP-III, the third international conference on processing materials for properties, is “The Materials Processing Technology Forum” promoting mutual interaction, information dissemination and exchange, and fruitful collaborations on advanced, state-of-the-art materials processing technologies being developed around the globe. This conference will build upon the previous joint symposia PMP-I, held in 1993 in Honolulu, Hawaii, and PMP-II, held in 2000 in San Francisco, California.

PMP-III is sponsored by The Minerals, Metals & Materials Society (TMS), the Mining and Materials Processing Institute (MMIJ), and the National Metals and Materials Technology Center of Thailand (MTEC).
