UPCOMING SPECIALTY MEETINGS

Specialty meetings feature intensive programming in a single topic area (e.g., electronic materials, superalloys, and recycling) and may be one-time events or new installments in a series. Although TMS directly organizes and administrates its specialty meetings, these meetings often feature cosponsorship of other organizations.

Visa Information

Meeting attendees from countries that require a visa to enter the United States are reminded that the process of obtaining a visa may take several months. You are strongly encouraged to plan ahead and begin the application process early.

MEETING INVITATION LETTERS

You may generate an official invitation letter for a specific meeting by visiting the appropriate meeting web site and selecting the "Visa Information" link. This link will contain instructions along with the official invitation letter (which is available as a PDF; in Adobe Acrobat). Each letter can be personalized by simply typing in the current date and your name and address in the appropriate fields. Please note that this letter does not guarantee that you will be granted a visa.

TMS cannot send the letter to an embassy or consulate for you, nor can we contact the embassy or consulate on your behalf. It is the sole responsibility of the attendee to obtain the necessary paperwork for entry to the U.S.
