NSF GRANTS FOR NANOTECHNOLOGY UNDERGRADUATE EDUCATION
FROM THE FEDERATION OF MATERIALS SOCIETIES: The NSF is soliciting proposals (NSF08-544) aimed at introducing nanoscale science, engineering, and technology through a variety of interdisciplinary approaches into undergraduate engineering education. The focus of this year's competition is on nanoscale engineering education with relevance to devices and systems and/or the societal, ethical, economic, and/or environmental issues relevant to nanotechnology. The competition is open to universities and two- and four-year colleges, including community colleges. |
