"To me, TMS is a community; a community of shared interests in the way metals and, generally, matrials make life better. Anything that facilitates the effort of the community deserves my participation and support. And when the TMS community recognizes an activity of which I am a part with an award, it brings me tremendous satisfaction and a sense of accomplishment."
