Biography: Harald A. Øye earned his Dr. Tech. in inorganic chemistry from the Norwegian Institute of Technology in 1964. He is currently a professor at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology. Dr. Øye is also a member of TMS.

Biography: Barry J. Welch earned his Dr.Sci. in electrochemical engineering at the University of Auckland. He is currently a professor of chemical and materials engineering at the University of Auckland. Dr. Welch is also a member of TMS.
