Quote: “I am deeply honored by recognition of my peers and an industry that has and will continue to make life better for everyone. We produce a product, literally from dirt, that makes life more livable and we do it socially responsible, with respect for the environment and respect for the safety of all who contribute. We can only do this by sharing ideas and solutions within the bounds of prudence, business ethics, and shareholder value. The Aluminum Committee has clearly been the lead in doing this. I am proud to be honored by this group and TMS. My involvement with TMS and the Aluminum Committee has been educational, affording opportunities for my growth, has been professionally rewarding including my honor of the 1995 Presidency, and personally rewarding with all the friends I have made.”
