Quote: “The aluminum industry/U.S. Department of Energy partnership has enabled the development of several technology roadmaps on critical aspects of the industry. These roadmaps have helped align and focus the research and development activities of the industry, national laboratories, and academia for the overall benefit of national competitiveness. I have been fortunate to play a role in leading and coordinating this activity, and it is most gratifying to have this effort recognized by TMS. Contacts made over more than 25 years as a TMS member have greatly helped in this process.”
