“The EPD Technology Award is especially important to me because of the time period of my life that it represents—my Ph.D. thesis. Several years were spent hypothesizing, experimenting, and learning. Although I am no longer engaged in academic research, I continue to leverage the hard scientific approach cultivated in this research towards the strategic aspect of business. With this award I feel a strong comfort in knowing that our work has been well accepted and will provide insight to others in the field.”
