Robert J. ReynikCitation: "For his contributions to the expansion of the field of materials and dedication in promoting metallurgy." Biography: Dr. Reynik retired from the National Science Foundation after twenty-nine
years (1970-1999) of developing and managing scientific research and
education programs, and staff in various leadership positions. He served in
leadership roles on numerous Federal Government and professional society
committees and advisory groups. He has had experience as a university
educator, researcher and advisor to undergraduate and graduate students
in materials science and engineering and biomedical engineering. Dr.
Reynik has 35 publications in scientific journals, covering a broad range
of multidisciplinary areas, including: transport properties of liquid metals;
electronic, magnetic, and mechanical behavior of metallic materials;
biodynamics of dental occlusion; and biomaterials. |
