Grafton and Lillian B. Wilkins Professor of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Illinois. He is the co-inventor of MHD-DC casting process, holds 20 U.S. patents, has authored numerous articles, presented numerous keynote addresses, and co-authored, with C. Tucker III, Modeling in Materials Processing. Prof. Dantzig has received various awards and honors, among them: Olin Outstanding Achievement Award (1980), Arnold Beckman Award (1982), Union Oil Young Faculty Award (1985–88) and Fellow, ASM International (1998). |
