Recipient: 2006 EPD Extraction & Processing Science Award

The EPD Science Award, established in 1955, recognizes a paper that represents notable contributions to the scientific understanding of the extraction and processing of nonferrous metals.

Recipient Gamini Senanayake

Biography: Gamini Senanayake is a senior lecturer at Murdoch University in Australia, where he received his doctorate in 1986.

He was awarded the Colombo Plan research scholarship by the Australian government for his studies.
