The Minerals, Metals & Materials Society's John Bardeen Award, established in 1994, recognizes an individual who has made outstanding contributions and is a leader in the field of electronic materials.

Recipient Sungho Jin

Recipient PhotoCitation: For seminal contributions to the science and technology of electronic materials, from the invention of hard magnetic materials to the practical processing of high-temperature superconductors to the discovery of colossal magnetoresistance.

Biography: Sungho Jim is a professor at University of California, San Diego in California.
