Recipient: 2008 SMD Distinguished Scientist/Engineer Award

The SMD Distinguished Scientist/Engineer Award, established in 1996, recognizes an individual who has made a long-lasting contribution to the fundamental understanding of microstructure, properties and performance of structural materials for industrial applications.

Biography:
S. Lee Semiatin is a senior scientist with the U.S. Air Force Research Laboratory at Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio.
