Honors and Awards

The Institute of Metals Lecturer & Robert Franklin Mehl Award established in 1921, recognizes an outstanding scientific leader who is selected to present a lecture at the TMS Annual Meeting.

Biography:
Robert Ritchie is the chairman of the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, H.T. & Jessie Chua Distinguished Professor of Engineering at the University of California at Berkeley.
