Remember to Request Your Chapter Travel Money for 2001

If not, select a student representative and send him or her to the 2001 Annual Meeting—or better yet, send a group. The annual travel allowance of $500 is granted to each student chapter affiliated with TMS (Joint ASM/TMS, TMS International, or Joint TMS/MetSoc-CIM). The allowance is restricted to student travel expenses to any TMS-sponsored meeting or symposium. It is expected that verification of student attendance at any of the aforementioned meetings will be provided to TMS by the student chapter.

The 2001 TMS Annual Meeting will be held in New Orleans, Louisiana February 11–15.

Complete the form found in the Student Chapter Handbook, or contact your TMS liaison, Tara Braden, at (724) 776-9000, ext. 259, or tbraden@tms.org. Reimbursement will be sent shortly following the TMS Annual Meeting.
