Make plans now to request your chapter travel money for 2002. Select a student
representative and send him/her to the 2002
TMS Annual Meeting or Fall
meetingor, better yet, send a group. The annual travel allowance of
$500 is granted to each student chapter affiliated with TMS (Joint ASM/TMS,
TMS International, or Joint TMS/MetSoc-CIM) and is restricted to student travel
expenses to any TMS-sponsored meeting or symposium. It is expected that verification
of student attendance at any of the aforementioned meetings will be provided
to TMS by the student chapter.
The 2002 TMS
Annual Meeting will be held in Seattle, Washington February 1721.
Complete the form found in the Student Chapter Handbook, or contact your TMS
liaison, Tara Braden, at (724) 776-9000, ext. 259, or tbraden@tms.org.
Reimbursement will be sent shortly following the TMS
Annual Meeting.
