Student Chapters . . . Do We Have Your Annual Report?

In order to be considered active for the upcoming year, all chapters are required to submit the Annual Report form, a list of officers for the coming year, and a copy of the chapter’s bylaws. Only active chapters are eligible to receive student chapter rebates and to participate in chapter contests.

Those chapters that were active during the 2001–2002 year but fail to submit the required material by June 1 deadline still have time to turn in a report. However, we must receive your annual report no later than October 16, 2003. Chapters that do not submit a report by this date will be considered dormant for the 2002–2003- chapter year. Dormant chapters are not eligible for student chapter rebates or for participation in chapter contests but will continue to receive all chapter mailings.

If your chapter was considered dormant last year and you would like to submit your report for the 2001–2002 year please have the information to TMS by the October 16 deadline. If no information is received by that date your chapter will become inactive for the 2002–2003 year. In addition to being ineligible for chapter rebates and contests, inactive chapters do not receive regular chapter mailings.

Please make sure your chapter bylaws are up-to-date and reflect your chapter status. If you update your bylaws, please include a copy in the report package you submit. If you have any questions or need a copy of the annual report form, please contact Diane Scheuring at 724-776-9000 ext. 259.

Don’t forget to renew your membership for the 2002–2003 school year!
