6th Annual TMS Student Poster Session

Here’s a great opportunity to win $500, network with meeting attendees, and present your research. Participate in the 6th Annual TMS Student Poster Session, which will be held in Charlotte, North Carolina at the 2004 TMS Annual Meeting. The poster session will begin on Monday, March 15th and run through Wednesday, March 17th, 2004. Annual Meeting attendees will have the opportunity to vote for the best poster, and the winner will receive $500.

Guidelines

• Poster presentations should be of technical interest to individuals in the fields of minerals, metals & materials.
• Authors must be full-time students, pursuing undergraduate or graduate degrees.
• All authors must register to attend the 2004 TMS Annual Meeting & Exhibition and be present to put up and take down their posters.
• Each author may use up to a 1.2 m x 1.2 m space. The author will be assigned a display number prior to the conference designating where the poster should be hung.
• Any visual aids that might clarify the results of the work are encouraged. Do not, however, post the paper’s text. Graphics should be simple, colorful, well labeled, and clear. The title should be written in letters 2 cm to 5 cm high and all materials should be readable from a distance of 2 m.
