And the awards go to . . .One of the benefits TMS student members enjoy is the opportunity to earn money for college through scholarships and student contests. The following are this year’s winners: “I would like to express to TMS my sincerest gratitude
for selecting me as a recipient for this year’s J. Keith
Brimacombe Presidential Scholarship. Receiving
this scholarship is not only an honor, but also a
tremendous financial help in achieving my educational
goals. I would also like to thank Professor George
Malliaras and Professor Michael Thompson for their
mentorship and support, as well as the entire materials
science department at Cornell University for all of the
opportunities and educational experiences that it has
provided me throughout my undergraduate years.”
“It is a great honor for me to receive the award. It truly
inspires me to continue my pursuit of materials science
research. Thanks to many people who helped me to
accomplish the study. Especially, I would like to thank
