Presenting the 1995 Powder Materials Student Presentation Award Winner

The 1995 Powder Materials (formerly Metallurgy) Graduate Student Presentation Award was awarded to Victoriya Shtessel of Drexel University for her paper titled, "Processing of Al- and Ni-Al-Based Composites by Vapor-Liquid-Solid Reactions," which she presented at the 124th TMS Annual Meeting and Exhibition in Las Vegas, Nevada. As the award recipient, Victoriya will receive a $250 prize, up to $250 to offset traveling expenses incurred to personally accept the award, and a framed certificate.

The award is sponsored by the Powder Materials Committee of the TMS Materials Processing & Manufacturing Division (MPMD). The Powder Materials Committee will select the 1996 Powder Materials Graduate Student Presentation Award from those papers presented at February's 125th TMS Annual Meeting and Exhibition in Anaheim, California. The award winner will be announced at Materials Week in Cincinnati, Ohio, and his or her award will be presented at the 126th TMS Annual Meeting and Exhibition in Orlando, Florida.

Congratulations, Victoriya!
