Congratulations to the following 1996 TMS Outstanding Student Paper Contest winners in the graduate division:

  • "X-Ray Microdiffraction for VLSI" by Ping-Chuan Wang, Columbia University (first place)
  • "Development of a New Swelling-Type Composite Materials for Bioimplant Applications" by Abdel Abusafieh, Drexel University (second place)

    •  The awards will be presented at the 1997 TMS Annual Meeting Awards Banquet on Tuesday, February 11, in Orlando, Florida.
