Travel Scholarships Available for 1998 TMS Fall Meeting

The 1998 TMS Fall Meeting will be held October 11-15, 1998, at the O'Hare Hilton, Rosemont, Illinois. A new program sponsored by the five TMS technical divisions can help pay your travel expense. Each of the five divisions are offering travel scholarships to eligible students. The five TMS technical divisions are:

Students receiving travel scholarships are responsible for making their own travel and hotel arrangements and registering for the meeting. To apply for travel assistance, send a letter of application and state which meeting you wish to attend and why. Name the TMS division who's technical programming you are most interested in and include complete information on how you can be contacted. If we cannot contact you, your award will be forfeited. Your letter will be reviewed by a subcommittee of the appropriate sponsoring division, and this group will select the applicants to receive the travel scholarships. Those receiving travel scholarships will be contacted by TMS shortly after a decision is made.
