Seniors: Don't Forget to Apply for Automatic Junior Membership

Students graduating in 1998 should sign up for their first year of professional membership in TMS--and receive a free book!

Students completing their academic studies in 1998 are eligible to receive their first year of professional membership in TMS for only $25. By becoming a junior member, you are entitled to select one complimentary book from a list made available through the American Institute of Mining, Metallurgical, and Petroleum Engineers' (AIME's) Seeley W. Mudd Memorial Fund. (TMS is one of four member societies in AIME.)

Approval for junior membership is automatic for existing student members. However, you must complete an application form and return it to TMS. Details are available on the World Wide Web at http://www.tms.org/Society/AJMApplication.html or by contacting the TMS Membership Department at (800) 966-4867.
