On behalf of the TMS Student Affairs Committee and staff, welcome back! We hope that you had a pleasant summer and that your student chapter has already begun planning activities for the rest of 1999 and 2000! TMS is looking forward to the new millennium and a busy year that is full of new programs, improved communication, and more activities to promote the field of materials science and engineering. Let's get those "Y2K" bugs out of the way and prepare your schedules now for the best year ever!
