The TMS technical divisions are now offering travel scholarships to help defray travel expenses for students attending the TMS Fall and Annual Meetings.
The following students each received a $500 travel scholarship to attend the TMS Fall Meeting in Cincinnati, Ohio, courtesy of three of the TMS technical divisions (no applications were received for the Extraction & Processing and Light Metals Divisions).

To apply for travel assistance for the 2000 TMS Annual Meeting, send a letter of application stating why you wish to attend the meeting in Nashville, Tennessee. Specify the TMS division in whose technical programming you are most interested and include complete information on how you can be contacted. You must be a TMS student member to qualify. If we cannot contact you, your award will be forfeited.
Applications are available through TMS OnLine at www.tms.org/Students/TravelScholarships.html. Submit the completed application by December 15, 1999, to:
