Student Membership Home

Students in the field of materials science and engineering comprise over a third of The Minerals, Metals & Materials Society's members.

Students are encouraged to take an active role in society activities, and they receive access to benefits at greatly reduced fees as compared to full members and nonmembers.

MATERIAL ADVANTAGE STUDENT MEMBERSHIP

Student membership offers students the opportunity to become affiliated with a number of professional societies through the Material Advantage program as outlined below.

Students who are members of the Metallurgical Society of the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum may avail themselves of TMS Student Member benefits by registering at the MetSoc-CIM site.
