Student Member Home

TMS student members are encouraged to take an active role in society activities, and receive access to all of the TMS member benefits at greatly reduced fees.  Plus TMS has numerous opportunities for students to network with peers and professionals in their field of interest, scholarships and award opportunities, student chapters, and more.

Interested in Student Membership?
Students can join TMS through the Material Advantage program which offers students the opportunity to become affiliated with several international professional societies, all for one low fee!  For more details on joining, view the TMS Membership page and select the "Student Material Advantage" option.

Are you a Recent Graduate?  
If you have graduated from a recognized university within the past year, you are eligible to join TMS at no cost!  Graduates within the past 3 years are eligible for half off the regular member dues rate. This program has been designed to make TMS membership affordable during the early career years, while providing all the benefits and advantages available to a member of TMS. Material Advantage Program
