The Nanotechnology Curriculum Consortium Grant was approved by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board as a Carl D. Perkins Leadership project through the Texas State Leadership Consortium for Curriculum Development. The project's goal was to identify the depth and breadth of need for technicians in industries utilizing nanotechnology concepts in Texas. Through examination of existing programs and curricula, industry surveys, interviews and workshops, project members identified the skills and training required of the nanotechnology technician. This collection of skills led to the development of six new Workforce Education Courses based on groups of common learning outcomes. This website is the final report of the project and includes curriculum and resources for the development an Associate of Applied Science degree in Nanotechnology. Courses with learning plans/activities include:
• Introduction to Nanotechnology
• Nanotechnology Safety
• Nanotechnology Seminar
• Nanotechnology Materials
• Nanotechnology and Instrumentation
• Nanotechnology Internship
