A highlight of the TMS Aluminum Cast Shop Science and Technology Course is a plant tour at Hydro Aluminium Rolled Products GmbH. The tour will include the cast shop covering four rolling ingot casting pits and related melting and holding furnaces, the hot rolling mill, and other areas of interest.

Personal protective gear will be provided as necessary, but all tour participants must wear cotton clothing (jeans, knitted shirts, etc.) and close-toed shoes.

The course fee includes transportation to and from the tour location. The plant tour is included in course registration fee. Please indicate whether you will be joining the tour by selecting the box when registering.
