13th International Symposium on Superalloys
September 11-15, 2016 • Seven Springs Mountain Resort • Seven Springs, Pennsylvania, USA
The 13th International Symposium on Superalloys aims to highlight the benefits of collaborative programs of development between industry, government, and academia to bring about tangible improvements in superalloy technology. Papers are invited that report incremental or step-change improvements in superalloy production, performance, and affordability. In particular, papers that show a direct impact on industrial applications and economies through collaborative working are encouraged. Such improvements could be derived from a greater understanding or exploitation of material processing, microstructure, properties, coating technology, or in the development of new superalloy compositions. The emphasis on collaborative working seeks to further promote links between academia, producers and users in the superalloy community.
