Welcome to the on-line home of the TMS 2009 Annual Meeting. This web site has recently been redesigned to provide attendees, potential attendees, and exhibitors with everything they will need to make the most of the TMS Annual Meeting experience.

In the months leading up to the February conference, this web site will feature updates on the newest plans for the meeting and alert visitors to all the activities taking place.

Given the large number of papers planned for this year’s conference, TMS has divided the technical program content on this site into nine categories, allowing users to find out more about the areas that interest them most.

The categories are: nanomaterials, aluminum, magnesium, electronic materials, computational materials science and engineering, emerging materials technologies, materials processing, materials and society, and materials characterization.

So explore the site to find out more about the meeting’s technical content, special events, and to make travel and registration plans for the meeting.
