MS&T '03 integrates and expands upon two seminal fall events: the ISS MECHANICAL WORKING AND STEEL PROCESSING CONFERENCE and the TMS FALL MEETING. The new meeting not only retains the best of these two very successful and long-running conferences, but MS&T '03 synthesizes them into an entirely new, unique, and dynamic event meshing the best that both sponsoring societies have to offer.

To acquaint the metals and materials community—especially meeting organizers, presenters, and the volunteer members of ISS and TMS—with the concept of the new joint conference, the two societies have jointly developed a pair of videos: one to provide a dynamic overview of the conference and one to present additional insights from 2002 TMS PRESIDENT JOHN ALLISON (Ford Motor Company) and 2002 ISS PRESIDENT IAN SADLER (Miller Centrifugal Casting Company).
