10/18 - Announcing the 2005 TMS Annual Meeting and Exhibition Proceedings Titles


Warrendale, PA: In anticipation of another successful Annual Meeting and Exhibition, TMS (The Minerals, Metals, and Materials Society) announces the publication of nine new proceedings volumes to be presented at the society’s 2005 meeting, planned for February 13-17 in San Francisco, CA.

Covering topics from light metals to extractive metallurgy to nanotechnology, the proceedings class of 2005 is one of TMS’s most diverse to date. Drawn from a record number of abstracts submitted to the 2005 TMS Annual Meeting, each proceedings volume is edited by experts on the topics covered.

The 2005 meeting will launch the latest editions of perennial TMS favorites, Light Metals, Magnesium Technology, and EPD Congress, as well as biennial proceedings series, Friction Stir Welding and Processing and Surface Engineering in Materials Science.
