Additional nominees may be presented to the Nominating Committee by August 15. If additional nominees are received, a majority vote of all society members will determine who fills the positions. The new board members will take office at the TMS 2003 Annual Meeting, March 2-6. For more details on the candidates, see the News & Update section of the July JOM. This award recognizes an individual in the broad field of metallurgy or materials science for exceptional promise of a successful career, rather than for any specific accomplishment. The nominee does not need to be a member of TMS; however, you might consider nominating one of the TMS Young Leader Interns for this honor.
