Honor a Colleague with the TMS Institute of Metals Lecture and Robert Mehl Award

Consider nominating an outstanding international scientific leader for the TMS Institute of Metals Lecture and Robert Mehl Award. This nominee must be an outstanding scientific leader who will present a lecture at the 2005 TMS Annual Meeting on a technical subject of particular interest to TMS members in the materials science and application of metals program areas. Each year, ten TMS professional members, age 35 years or younger, are selected to participate in the TMS Young Leaders Internship Program. Two Young Leader representatives are selected from each of the five TMS divisions to participate in this honorary program.

TMS Young Leader Interns:
* Receive funding to attend the TMS Annual Meeting and TMS Fall Meeting
* "Intern" as members of TMS divisional leadership and participate in the decision-making and long-range planning of the society
* Promote TMS's commitment to advancing programs that encourage young professionals to contribute to and influence the future direction of the society
