All TMS members can access TMS Letters in much the same way that they access electronic subscriptions to JOM. Members must first log in to the on-line TMS Document Center (http://doc.tms.org) by entering their TMS member number as their username and their birthdate (in the form of mm/dd/yyyy) as their password at the top of the screen. Once logged in, members can click on the TMS Letters icon, select an issue to view, and then select articles to view from that issue’s table of contents. To view a particular article, members should click on the red “Use Download Privilege” button to the right of the article description. The article will then appear as a portable document format file. The free Adobe Acrobat Reader program can be downloaded through the TMS Document Center to view these files.
TMS members receive access to all articles published in TMS Letters as a benefit of membership. Non-member subscriptions to the journal are not yet available, but nonmembers may purchase entire issues or individual articles from the journal through the TMS Document Center.

5. JOM Survey Lets Readers Voice Their Opinions
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Do you have time to answer 14 questions? If so, you can influence the future editorial content of JOM by taking the on-line JOM reader survey at:
http://www.zoomerang.com/recipient/survey-intro.zgi?p=WEB2J322NF4Y
This survey does not ask for any personal information such as name or contact information, but allows JOM readers the opportunity to rate such factors as JOM’s overall quality, web site, technical content, and international perspective, as well as to express opinions on which sections of the journal should be expanded. A print version of the survey is available in the July issue of JOM, and the results will be published in a future issue of the journal.
10. Announce Job Openings, Events, and New Products through JOM
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
If you are looking for an effective way to announce job openings, events, or new products without spending a fortune, consider placing an announcement in the JOM Materials Resource Center.
The Materials Resource Center, an expanded version of the traditional JOM classified section, provides a forum for organizations to announce job openings, new products and services, workshops, seminars, new publications, and consulting services. JOM’s wide print circulation and powerful on-line presence make the Materials Resource Center an ideal way to get your message out to a large number of qualified readers for a reasonable price. Every advertisement placed in the print version of JOM appears for three months free on the JOM Materials Resource Center web page (http://www.tms.org/pubs/journals/JOM/classifieds.html), one of the most popular pages on the TMS web site with an average of more than 3,500 hits each month.
For more information on adding your company’s announcement to the Materials Resource Center, contact:
