Present a Paper at a TMS Conference
Each year, TMS holds two large, multidisciplinary conferences (the TMS Annual Meeting & Exhibition and MS&T) and a series of more focused specialty conferences for the minerals, metals, and materials communities. Most of the technical programming at these events is delivered by volunteer presenters.

Time Commitment
In addition to preparation time, presenters are required to travel to a TMS meeting to deliver the presentation. Contributed presentations typically last approximately 20 minutes.
How to Get Started
To become a presenter at a TMS meeting, you should begin by selecting an upcoming event from the TMS Meetings Calendar. Next, you should identify a relevant symposium in the conference technical program, submit an abstract online through ProgramMaster, and prepare a presentation to deliver at the conference. Often, presenters are also asked to submit manuscripts based on their talks for inclusion in conference proceedings.
