View Benchmark Tests Data
The organizers of Additive Manufacturing Benchmarks (AM-Bench) are developing a continuing series of controlled benchmark tests with two initial goals:
The AM-Bench conference series provides a venue for sharing the results of these tests and convening modelers and experimentalists to discuss what works and to identify strategies for resolving what doesn’t work.
The 2018 benchmarks encompass both metals and polymers. Visit the NIST benchmark website for detailed descriptions of all 2018 benchmarks, descriptions of modelling challenges, and directions for submitting simulation results.
Modelers are invited to submit simulation results for any number of challenges they like before the deadline of 11:50 (ET) on May 18, 2018. Tabulated results along with figures are recommended whenever possible. All AM-Bench 2018 measurement results will be released on May 19, 2018.
Another opportunity for sharing insights and advancements at AM-Bench 2018 is the Benchmark Measurement and Modeling symposium. The intent of the symposium is to showcase presentations on topics supporting the advancement of new approaches to validating additive manufacturing simulations.
Abstracts are no longer being accepted for this symposium.
