Online registration is now closed.

Online registration for the AM-Bench 2018 conference closed at 3:00 p.m. (EDT) on Friday, June 8. Because NIST Headquarters, the conference location, is a controlled access facility, onsite registration will not be available for this event. There may be availability for pre-registration on a very limited basis. Please contact TMS staff at mtgserv@tms.org to check availability.

AM-Bench 2018 will be held June 18 through June 21, 2018. Registration includes the following:

  • Daily lunch
  • Wednesday dinner event
  • Refreshment beaks during session intermissions, coordinated with exhibit and poster viewing

Attendees are required to register and badges must be worn for admission to technical sessions, the exhibition and all conference events.

About NIST Facility Access

Because NIST is a controlled-access facility, supplementary information will be required for all non-U.S. citizens. Once you register for AM-Bench 2018, TMS will be in touch with those individuals who indicated on the registration form that they are not a U.S. citizen. These individuals will need to complete a NIST visitor access registration form*. This step is required to process entry into the NIST headquarters facility and should be completed as soon as possible. The NIST access registration site closes on June 11, 2018.

After completing the NIST access registration form, NIST staff will submit registrant information to security and will alert TMS if an issue arises. TMS will monitor the status of registrations with NIST and will notify registrants of their approval status.

All AM-Bench 2018 attendees will also be required to present photo ID onsite upon entry to the NIST Gaithersburg facility.

U.S. citizens must provide: Non-U.S. citizens must provide:
  • Valid passport (original only); OR
  • Alien registration card (green card)

Attendees who are planning on driving to NIST Gaithersburg and bringing a vehicle onto the campus must also provide their vehicle registration card.

* Please note that the visitor access registration process is completely regulated by NIST. Authority to gather this information is derived from United States Department of Commerce Department Administrative Order (DAO) number 207-12.

All AM-Bench 2018 technical sessions, inclusive of lunches and exhibit and poster viewing, will take place at NIST headquarters in Gaithersburg, Maryland, USA. All visitors, both domestic and international, must be pre-registered in the NIST Visitor System and present valid, original specified identification. Meeting Policies

Cancellation Policy: Requests for cancellations must be made in writing (by e-mail or mail) to TMS. A $75 processing fee is charged for all cancellations. No refunds will be processed after the registration deadline.

Anti-Harassment Policy: In all activities, TMS is committed to providing a professional environment free of harassment, disrespectful behavior, or other unprofessional conduct. TMS requires all attendees to abide by the Anti-Harassment Policy.

Photography and Recording Policy: TMS reserves the right to all audio and video reproductions of presentations at TMS-sponsored meetings. By registering for this conference, all attendees acknowledge that they may be photographed by TMS personnel while at events, and that those photos may be used for promotional purposes, in and on TMS publications and websites, and on social media sites.

Any recording of sessions (audio, video, still photography, etc.) intended for personal use, distribution, publication, or copyright without the express written consent of TMS and the individual authors is strictly prohibited. Attendees violating this policy may be asked to leave the session.
