BM1: Springback Prediction of a Twist Die Panel

This benchmark documents the springback of panels formed from DP 980 steel and from a 6000 series aluminum alloy under two processing conditions that alter the degree of twisting and side wall curl in the formed panel after springback. Files containing instructions, tool geometry, and material characterization tests including uniaxial, equal biaxial, and tension-compression testing are available for download.
