Scope: This invited topic spotlights the numerous advances in the experimental and computational methods used for constitutive analyses and improves our knowledge of the mechanical and metallurgical responses of advanced high strength steels to complex sheet forming processes. This includes increasing the understanding of the relationships between complex microstructures and mechanical behavior, as well as the relative influences of strain path and temperature on formability and failure.
