This page serves as a guide for authors and/or editors who wish to sumbit their work for potential presentation in one of these publications. For more information the society's core publication activities, visit the TMS Journals and Publications Home Page. Visit the Knowledge Resource Center to search the TMS publication library, review tables of contents, and purchase publications and journal subscriptions.
The proceedings composition page presents all information and support material needed to prepare a paper for publication in a symposium proceedings volume. Editors will find a portable document format version of the Editor's Kit, which is a useful guide for reviewing all materials that authors are required to use. Authors will be directed to the appropriate author's guide (also in portable document format) and page template as well as the copyright and offprint forms.
Interested authors should review the editorial schedule presented in the Technical Emphasis Calendar, and select a technical area and respective issue. Visit the JOM Author Guide page for complete information on how to format and submit to this monthly journal. The journal's editorial office is based at TMS headquarters.
The MMT Author guide describes how to prepare and submit manuscripts to for publication in the journals. Approved manuscripts will be published according to subject matter in section A (physical metallurgy and materials science) or B (process metallurgy and materials processing science). The journals' editorial office is based at Carnegie Mellon University.
JEM regularly reports on the science and technology of electronic materials, while examining new applications for semiconductors, magnetic alloys, insulators, and optical and display materials. The journal welcomes articles on methods for preparing and evaluating the chemical, physical, and electronic properties of these materials. The journal also selectively publishes invited and contributed review papers on topics of current interest to enable individuals in the field of electronics to keep abreast of activities in areas peripheral to their own.
