This site contains all the information and support material relevant to publishing symposium proceedings volumes, textbooks, and monographs through The Minerals, Metals & Materials Society (TMS).

AUTHOR GUIDELINES

Depending upon which proceeding volume for which you are preparing a manuscript, you are required to employ a certain set of manuscript-preparation guidelines. To access the appropriate guidelines, click on the proceedings title.

Regardless of the publication for which you are preparing a manuscript, a TMS Transfer of Copyright Form (PDF) must be completed and submitted.

EDITOR INSTRUCTIONS

Listed below are several forms to assist potential editors. Each editor needs to review the Editor's Guide and then can review the appropriate proposal form.

Editor's Guide (PDF): You will need to review the Editor's Guide; it is also important for you to review all materials that your authors will be required to use.

Standard Book Proposal Form (PDF): Potential editors should use the Standard Book Proposal Form to initiate the process for proceedings volumes or monographs.

Textbook Proposal Form (PDF): The procedure for textbooks is different than proceedings volumes and monographs. Potential editors/authors of textbooks should use the Textbook Proposal Form to initiate the process.
