Honors and Awards

The mission of TMS is to promote the global science and engineering professions concerned with minerals, metals, and materials.

Recipient: 2010 Vittorio de Nora Award

This award recognizes outstanding materials science research and development contributions to the reduction of environmental impacts, and particularly greenhouse gas emissions, as applied in global metallurgical industries, especially focused on extractive processing. Biography:
Zeljka Pokrajcic is a senior process design engineer for WorleyParsons – Mineral and Metals Division, in Melbourne, Australia and doctoral candidate at Julius Kruttschnitt Mineral Research Centre (JKMRC), University of Queensland in Brisbane.
