The recognition of outstanding accomplishments by members of the international
minerals, metals, and materials community is one of the primary objectives of
TMS. In the society's view, the bestowment of honors and awards is necessary to
not only reward distinguished performance by a scientist or engineer but to
encourage his or her colleagues to strive toward the same--and perhaps a
greater--level of distinction.
To submit an award nomination, review the descriptions and criteria below then complete the online Nomination Form. You may also download the Nomination Form (PDF) which contains a complete explanation of each award, then fax or mail with the required supporting papers.
